Location
The estate - 5 km from the sea - is located in the southern part of Tuscany, in
the lee of the Monte Argentario promontory, between Porto Ercole and the ancient
medieval tower of Talamone.
How to reach the La Sugheraia Estate from the SOUTH
Travelling north from Rome on National Highway S.S. 1 Aurelia road, take Provincial
Road n. 128 Parrina to the right 3 km after having passed the exit for Orbetello
and continue on for 4,8 km just to the round about that help the intersection with
Provincial Road 74 Maremmana, going in the sense of the car take in front the Provincial
Road 160 Amiatina towards San Donato, continuing on for 700mt. After passing the
Albegna river Viaduct, take the first turn to the left on S.P. 56 direction S. Donato
and continue on for km 2,00 untill you reach a small intersection where you will
see a shirine to the Madonna on the right side of the road, please stop there and
take the first unsurfaced road on the right and continue on to the main entrance
on left with a short drive with the cypresses on the both side.
How to reach the La Sugheraia Estate from the NORTH
Travelling south from Grosseto on State Highway S.S.1 Aurelia, continue on just
to Fonteblanda exit,enter in Fonteblanda Village and after only 300 mt turn immediately
left after 2km and at a traffic devider turn right on the Provincial Road S.P.56
direction South S.Donato Vecchio, Albinia,Orbetello stay ever on the S.P.56 and
continue for approximately 5 km until you reach a small intersection where you will
see a shrine to the Madonna on the left, stop yourself you are arrived, after 1
meter turn on left taking the first unsurfaced road continue on to the main entrance
of the Tenuta La Sugheraia Relais.
